Goals:
1/be able to understand Japanese anime or movie only with Japanese subtitles
2/be able to understand the emotion behind certain intonation and word pitches
3/be able to talk about daily topics with Japanese people
4/be able to use casual form in conversation

Activities:
1/shadowing 10 excerpts from Japanese anime
2/using the Japanese online intonation dictionary at least twice
3/attending the Japanese table at least five times
4/watching 5 Japanese movies or 20 episodes of Japanese anime
5/going to sensees' office hour at least once a week
6/posting at least 5 blogs in Japanese
